Updating the Art
Lately, I have mostly been working on updating the UI for the game. That includes making art for the faction menu, and adding sound effects to give users feedback when they press a button or talk to a character. All of that is still in the works, so I'll address it in a later post.
In this post, I just wanted to give a short update on the character art.
First is a quick update to the Indeterminants. I had already edited Repin's sprite so that he was in a plain black suit rather than a military uniform. I'd originally forgotten to put it in the game, so I just quickly fixed that.
The slightly larger update I have is to the Westernizer's page. I had forgotten that Apreleva is a woman until I started working on her dialogue. I had originally used a male character sprite for her. Today I went into Photoshop and redid the whole Westernizer scene so that she could have a female sprite. I saved a new Westernizer background asset, as well as the individual asset for normal and highlighted Apreleva.
I am waiting to release another playable update to the game until I have made more progress with the menu UI. This is a small fix, so I don't think it's worth it yet to make two new builds.
